Soylent Snack Trap

We've all been there – reaching for the closest salty snack that isn't going to satisfy, and reaching back again and again because your snack isn't giving you the nutrients you need. This ad campaign went after mindless snacking and proposed a better option: a nutritionally complete Soylent.

What started as a simple idea: "how can we tell people they don't have to fall into the trap of snacking?" delivered some of the most fun creative work I've had the pleasure of being a part of. We developed several ways to illustrate common unfulfilling snacks "trapping" their hungry victims by cartoonish means. The saturated and bold photography mimiced the world of snack-food packaging, contrasting starkly with the sensible and actually good-for-you choice of Soylent, shown in the ad concepts.

Unfortunately, this project was shelved after photography was completed, so we never got to see these in the wild, but they were too fun not to include. Also, it's my best modeling gig to date (that's me with my fingers in the taquito).
